BNY Mellon has bolstered its South Florida wealth management operations with the hiring of former JPMorgan trust officer Susan August and Miami advisor Charles Sachs.
August will serve as a senior wealth manager and fiduciary specialist at the firm’s Palm Beach office. Sachs will join the firm’s Miami team as a senior wealth manager.
Both August and Sachs will work with high-net-worth clients as well as their attorneys and accountants.
August is joining BNY Mellon after a 20-year career at JPMorgan where she served as a vice president and trust officer, overseeing up to $550 million in assets under management.
Sachs was a founding principal of Private Wealth Counsel, a Miami-based RIA. Previously, he oversaw $150 million in client assets as a senior client advisor with Evensky & Katz Wealth Management in Coral Gables, Florida.
