BNY Mellon fixed income shop Standish Mellon Asset Management has lost a 22-year veteran fixed income manager.
Christine Todd, president and head of tax sensitive fixed income and insurance strategies, will leave the firm on October 13 to pursue other opportunities.
Dan Rabasco, chief investment officer of municipal bond strategies will lead the municipal bond team and Jim Kaniclides, senior portfolio manager and fixed income strategist, will lead the insurance strategies team.
The Dreyfus Intermediate Municipal Bond fund continues to be managed by Thomas Casey and the Dreyfus Tax Sensitive Total Return Bond fund continues to be managed by Casey, Daniel Rabasco and Citywire + rated Jeffrey Burger.
Todd joined Standish Mellon Asset Management in 1995 from Gannett Welsh & Kotler where she was a municipal bond manager, analyst and trader.
At the end of July, the firm lost its deputy chief investment officer of fixed income, Raman Srivastava, and its director of emerging markets Javier Murcio.
Since then, Srivastava has resurfaced at Great West Lifeco as chief investment officer.
