Turnkey asset management program Envestnet has added exchange-traded fund (ETF)-provider WisdomTree’s model portfolios to its wealth management platform.
The WisdomTree Conservative model, the WisdomTree Moderate model, the WisdomTree Aggressive model, and the WisdomTree 100% Dividend model are now available on the Envestnet platform.
The firm also plans to launch additional models on the platform in the coming weeks, according to a WisdomTree spokesperson.
Several variations of each model exist, based on differing risk profiles along a more conservative to more aggressive risk spectrum.
WisdomTree’s model portfolios utilize both proprietary and outside ETFs that aim to provide investors cost-efficient strategies. Aside from strategist fees, the underlying expense ratios for the model portfolios begin at 0.10%.
‘Through the platform, advisors and ultimately their clients, will now have access to WisdomTree’s unique model portfolios which incorporate both asset allocation and ETF selection, further demonstrating our commitment to innovation,’ said Luciano Siracusano, WisdomTree’s chief investment strategist.
WisdomTree offers products covering equities, fixed income, currencies, commodities and alternative strategies. The firm currently has approximately $45.5 billion in assets under management globally.
In June, Envestnet unveiled a list of recommended 33 smart beta ETFs from 10 asset managers including WisdomTree, Alps, Flexshares, First Trust, iShares, PowerShares, Schwab, State Street, VanEck and Vanguard.
The Envestnet network services more than 55,000 advisors, almost 6 million investor accounts, and over $1.1 trillion in total platform assets as of June 30 2017.
