Three senior wealth managers from J.P. Morgan are joining First Republic Bank.
Jeff Sherman, Art Karabelas, and Okita Sevi have joined First Republic Private Wealth Management and will work out of its Boston office.
Sherman was financial advisor and executive director at J.P. Morgan Securities in Boston. He specializes in working with high-net worth families, senior executives and physician groups, focusing on strategies to help diversify portfolios. He formerly worked for Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers and Royal Bank of Canada.
Karabelas also comes from J.P. Morgan in Boston. He specializes in formulating fixed-income and hedging strategies to protect against interest rate risk. Karabelas also works with business clients on 10b5-1 plans and stock options. He was formerly with Merrill Lynch as well.
Sevi is the third addition from J.P. Morgan. She has extensive experience as a private banker providing commercial and residential lending services. Her previous firms include Bank of America and Merrill Lynch.
