RBC Wealth Management and First Republic Private Wealth have each hired advisors from UBS.
RBC has recruited Todd Mitchell, who previously oversaw $220 million of client assets at UBS Financial Services, to its Chicago office, which is headed by Justin Ferdula, director of RBC’s Chicago complex.
Mitchell had a 10-year career with UBS after joining from Deutsche Bank, where he worked from 2001 to 2006.
Separately, First Republic Private Wealth Management has hired two wealth managers from UBS Wealth Management.
It has recruited Mark Friedman and Mitchell Peters, each as a director and wealth manager. They will be based in San Francisco.
Friedman spent 10-years at UBS having previously been at Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch.
Peters was with UBS for 12-years following three years at long/short equity hedge fund, Chilmark Capital.
