SEI has added a subadvisor to the $7.7 billion SEI World Equity Ex-US fund and made further changes to another fund.
At the end of March, Citywire reported the firm had dropped Allianz GI’s NFJ from the SEI World Equity Ex-US fund but did not name a replacement.
It has now added Barrow, Hanley, and Mewhinney & Strauss (BHMS) to fill up thre roster of subadvisors on the fund.
BHMS manager Randolph Wrighton will oversee the firm's portion of the fund, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
Wrighton joined BHMS in 2005. Prior to joining the firm, he was an associate in institutional equity sales for Deutsche Bank Securities in Atlanta.
BHMS joins the funds other six subadvisors:
- Bailie Gifford;
- McKinley Capital Management;
- Earnest Partners;
- Acadian Asset Management;
- and JO Hambro Capital Management.
Additionally, the firm has added Coho Partners and Fiera Capital as subadvisors on the $2.3 billion SEI Large Cap fund.
Coho and Fiera join seven other subadvisors on the fund, these are:
- Brandywine Global Investment Mgmt;
- LSV Asset Management;
- Parametric Portfolio Associates;
- AQR Capital Management;
- Jackson Square Partners;
- and Snow Capital Management.
A spokeswoman confirmed the contents of the filing but declined to comment further.
