UBS Wealth Management Americas has boosted its home office due diligence team with the hire of Chetan Jadhav from New York Life.
Jadhav has joined the wirehouse as a manager research analyst and will focus on option overlay strategies and target date funds, Citywire understands.
A UBS spokesman confirmed the new addition to the team but declined to comment further.
Jadhav joins from New York Life, having previously worked at Credit Suisse as a quantitative analyst.
There he developed fund of fund and equity strategies for its discretionary investment platform, according to his LinkedIn profile.
He is the latest addition to the team, which in December last year hired senior gatekeeper Greg Moore, who was previously head of traditional research at institutional consultants Segal Marco Advisors.
Moore joined the wirehouse as a director of manager research and is now focusing on international and global portfolio managers.
Moore's area of focus was previously covered by Alfred Kleindienst, who retired in July, as Citywire reported.
In 2016 UBS merged its manager research, model portfolio and investment management teams into one unit, called managed solutions and portfolio guidance, which is headed up by Glenn Regan.
Ray Joseph is head of portfolio management and model solutions, with Joe Aniano head of investment manager research, reporting up to Joseph.
