WisdomTree is planning to launch a new fixed income exchange-traded fund (ETF).
The firm has filed for the WisdomTree Barclays Yield Enhanced US Short-Term Aggregate Bond fund, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
The fund will track the price and yield of the Barclays US Aggregate Short-Term Enhanced Yield index before fees and expenses.
It will invest 80% of its assets in the index and may invest up to 20% in other fixed income investments, including other ETFs that invest in fixed income securities similar to the index.
While Wisdom Tree serves as the funds advisor, the firm has yet to choose a subadvisor for the fund. The day-to-day managers have yet to be named as well.
A spokeswoman for the firm confirmed the filing but declined to comment beyond it.
The firm already offers the WisdomTree Barclays Negative Duration US Aggregate Bond fund, the WisdomTree Barclays Yield Enhance US Aggregate Bond fund, and the WisdomTree Interest Rate Hedged US Aggregate Bond fund.
Wisdom Tree currently has $43.3 billion in assets under management.
