Rudolph-Dengel is the top International Equity Income manager out of 29 in the category for his recent risk-adjusted performance, earning an AAA-rating. His one-year total return numbers are not too shabby either: he is up 26.3%, compared with the average International Equity Income manager, up 22.2%.
While Rudolph-Dengel has only been managing the AllianzGI Europe Equity Dividend fund since its inception in 2015, his experience managing the strategy against the same benchmark for European investors has also been taken into account in awarding him a Citywire AAA rating. He has lagged the benchmark over 2017 during Europe’s red-hot run, with his focus on income falling out of favor.
