St. Louis, Mo.-based Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. has recruited 13 advisors from Wells Fargo Advisors and one advisor from Oppenheimer & Co.
The hires coincide with recent additions of three new Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. offices in Chesterton, Ind. and Shreveport, La. as well as Champaign, Ill.
The 14 advisors collectively bring $1.2 billion in assets under management to the firm.
Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. had about $6.5 billion in assets under management as of July, according to its most recent form ADV filing.
The firm’s office in Chesterton, Ind. is populated by new recruits Clifford E. Bryan, branch manager and managing director, and Jeff Fernandez, financial advisor.
The Chesterton office also added Roberts Jackson Wealth Management, which consists of Thomas Roberts, senior vice president of investments, Kristin Louise Jackson, vice president of investments, and Ryan Jackson, financial advisor.
For the Shreveport office, the firm recruited Jimmy Scruggs and William Sumlin of Scruggs-Sumlin Wealth Management and for the Champaign, Illinois office it recruited Gary Buller, vice president of investments, and Matt Buller as a financial advisor.
Joining an existing office in Geneva, Ill. was Cunningham Wealth Management, which is made up of Jay Cunningham, senior vice president of investments, Marcia Gregory, financial advisor, and Bryan Hoppe, financial advisor.
Other advisors who joined existing offices include Richard C Lawrence, who joined the firm’s Hiawatha, Ia. office from Oppenheimer & Co. and Jay Farquharson, who joined the firm’s Grand Rapids, Mich. office as a vice president of investments.
